Our Process

Every day, we work with busy professionals and homeowners to make creating a dream home as easy (and fun!) as possible.  At Bryant Park Designs, we aim to maximize functionality, help you avoid costly mistakes, and streamline management of your project.  In doing so, we lift the burden of endless options, lists, and roadblocks, so you can enjoy the creative process of bringing your ideal space to life.

Discovery

After an initial chat to ensure a good fit, we start with a deeper conversation. We aim to understand how you live, and what you love.  Do you have kids, pets, and/or aging parents? These practical details dictate our suggestions for layout, materials, and even lighting. We also ask for photos of spaces that inspire you, either from our portfolio or elsewhere. At Bryant Park Designs, we merge the functional with the beautiful to create a house that feels like a home -  you’ll never want to leave.

Design

Following the discovery phase, we move on to creating design boards for your specific rooms. Floor plans, which illustrate various layout options, come first.  Next we identify an inspirational textile - be it a rug or a fabric - that helps inspire and inform the rest of the room’s design.  You are then presented with comprehensive design boards that include suggestions for upholstery, case pieces, lighting, floor and window coverings, and paint color.

Implementation

When the design stage is complete, the client is invoiced for agreed upon items.  Once payment is received, Bryant Park Designs handles all ordering, rug and window treatment measurements and installations, tracks and coordinates deliveries, and trouble shoots any issues that come up along the way.  Next comes the icing on the cake - placing all the accessories and extras that help your home feel like you.
